2 Large Cans of Bush's Baked Beans
1/2 Cup Catsup
1/2 Cup Barbecue Sauce
1 Onion, chopped small
1 Tbsp. Mustard
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1 Slice of Bacon, cut small


There are 2 ways that I make this dish:

Preheat oven to 350*. Drain half of the sause out
of the cans of baked beans and then mix all ingredients and pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
Bake for 1 hour.

Or on hot summer days, to keep from lighting my oven, I will do the same as above, but instead put the ingredients into my slow cooker / crock pot and let it cook for several hours. Be careful not to stir too often because it will break down the beans.

My sister is a vegetarian, so for her, I omit the bacon. Just make sure to buy the vegetarian baked beans instead. The beans are still wonderful even without the meat!
