CLOUD BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Flour
1 tbsp. Sugar
4 tsp. Baking Powder
2/3 cup Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 cup Shortening
1 Egg, beaten

DIRECTIONS:

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and
salt into a large bowl, add shortening and using
either 2 knifes or a pastry blender, cut into
course crumbs. In a small bowl, beat the egg,
then stir in the milk. Add the egg and milk mix,
to the flour mixture all at once. Knead gently
for about 20 strokes, you may need to add a little
more flour if it is too sticky. Roll out and cut
with a cookie cutter. Place biscuits on a greased
baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes at 400*.
