NO BAKE
BUTTERSCOTCH HAYSTACKS

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Hershey's Butterscotch Chips
1/2 cup Reece's Peanut Butter Chips
1 Tbsp. Shortening (NOT butter, marg, or oil)
1 1/2 cups (3-oz. can) Chow Mein Noodles

DIRECTIONS:

Place 2 sheets of aluminum foil flat onto table. In medium microwave-safe bowl, place butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips and shortening. Microwave on high (100%) for 1 minute and stir.
If necessary, microwave on high an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until all is melted. Immediately add chow mein noodles and stir to coat. Drop mixture onto the aluminum foil, by heaping teaspoonfuls and let stand until firm. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge. Makes About 2 dozen.
