PEACH COBBLER

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick Butter
1 large can Sliced Peaches in Heavy Syrup
1 cup Milk
1 cup Self Rising Flour
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 400*. In a 9x13 pan place the
stick of butter and cut into pieces. Next, in
a medium sause pan, place the entire can of
peaches and syrup. Over medium-high heat,
bring them to a boil, remembering to stir them.

When peaches start to boil, place the 9x13 pan
with the butter in it into the preheated oven to
let the butter melt and the pan get hot.

While the peaches are boiling and the butter is
melting in the oven, you will make your crust.
In medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar and
salt, then add the cup of milk to the dry mix
and stir well. The batter will look like glue.

Remove the hot pan with the butter from the oven.
Immedietly pour evenly in the crust mixture. Next,
pour the boiling hot peaches and syrup over the top.
Then Immedietly place back into the already hot oven
and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top is
golden brown and bubbly! Serve Hot Alone or with
Vanilla Ice Cream!

* Notes: This is my Mamaw's recipe, there was
nothing better as a child, than after 2 hours of
church on a Sunday, going to my Mamaw's for a
visit and her fried chicken and hot out of the oven
